McKay: "You?! You I'm talking with on the phone right now and having dinner with tomorrow, so not so much, but other people -- people who I may never see again. Like, even Elizabeth -- she hasn’t returned any of my calls."
Sheppard: "I know what you mean."
McKay: "Hey -- at least you still get to go offworld with a team of your own."
Sheppard: "Oh yeah, the best and the brightest(!) Alright, see you tomorrow night."
McKay: "Yeah, wouldn’t miss it. Hey, you know, I..."
Sheppard: *hangs up*
McKay: *closes his phone* "Yeah."

So I've had a pretty decent week. Much better than any I've had in a long while really.

I would say it started the Thursday before last, but that was a bad night. THE HOTEL BLOCKED DEVIANTART! So that's why I haven't been putting up many journals. And I didn't have time, so I thought that I'd just make one big one for my entire week.

My good week started last Tuesday. I got up and went to court early that morning. Scared the shit outta me when they told my dad that he couldn't go in. But all I had to do was plead "guilty" or "not guilty" to my charge (neglegent driving) and I have to go to a defense driving class later this month that only cost $35. If I had just paid the fine it would have been about $200 and stayed on my record (actually I'm not sure it's going off it or not >.e)

So about an hour after I get home from that and breakfast I get a call from my staffing agency thing. I've got a job! And I start the next day! X3

So Wednesday I go to start my first day in Maybeline's Returns warehouse thingie-place. I folded boxes and stuck stickers onto those boxes ALL FRIGGIN' DAY LONG. AND ON MY FEET THE ENTIRE TIME! I am close to cryin' by the time it's time to go. My feet are killing my and my shoulders hurt so much. I had my mom's steel-toed sneakers but they were too small and squeezed my feet.

As soon as I got home I soaked my feet in near-scalding hot water for about an hour. Then I took Trini to go and get two books that she needed for something or other while I got myself books #2, 3, and 4 in those fan-writ Stargate Atlantis books. I'm such a dork <3 But I've finished #2 already and it was awesome. 4 is kinda boring so far so I switched to 3 with better results. Anywho. I also got Trini some Arkansas souveniers to give to the Turkey people while I went and treated myself to Mario Party 8 for getting a job. So much fun~!

Not much happened on Thursday other than switching to my mom's steel-toed boots (little bigger) and I went from sticking boxes to sorting out-of-date hair dye. I like it better but I have to move my arms more, so my shoulders were burning by the end of the day. Also, they boots fit better but they were boots. Not soft like sneakers so the bottom of my feet were burning by the end of the day.

This is also the day Trini left on a plane to Turkey. ._.' I had actually planned to be at the airport when she left, but then I got the job on Tuesday. Very sad.

Anywho. Got home and my mom took me to go get gel-soles-thingies for the boots. Instead I got some memory-foam thing that said it was for work (it was Dr. Scholls so how could I go wrong) and they do help a little. I also got some heating pad things for my shoulders and a box of band-aids 'cause we were out. And I must be halfway psychic 'cause the very next day I cut my hands in two places.

Anywho. On Friday I woke up at 5:45 am rather than 5am... 5:45 is the time I leave to go to work. Fun. So I didn't get a shower or anything to eat. The day went better than the day before. My feet didn't burn as much, but I got to stab boxes. Very stress relieving (just getting the job was a big relief for me).

So after I got home from work Runi's mom dropped her off (she had a choice of staying with us for the weekend or going somewhere else that she didn't really want to go). So I got a substitute little sister for the weekend. X3 I even told her that she was my favorite little sister and she said that that was mean. Later that night I had to go to my other work (hotel >_< that I still have two weeks left for. So tired that night.

Then Saturday after sleeping 'til 'bout 2pm I got up and played some Mario Party 8 with Runi for a while. Then we went to go see Shrek 3 at the theaters. So great! I actually loved it very muchly. And I can't wait 'til July 4th for Transformers to be in theaters! *sqees* O_o; I really have no idea why I'm so excited about it. *remembers cheering at the very first trailer*.

And then I went to work again. >_e; I'll be glad to be rid of that job.

So Sunday morning after I got home from that I started watching my Atlantis dvd that had come in the night before. Dozed off near the end of the second episode. Then we went to the mall to get something that Runi wanted that was in Hot Topic (there's not one on the other side of town where she lives). And OH MY GOD! THERE IS A PIKACHU SHIRT! IN MY SIZE!!!!! I saw it, did a doulble-take, got my size out, and bought it without even a second thought.

So I'm walking around a family reunion later (not really mine) with my Pokemon shirt that has a rather large Pikachu on it. I'm am so freakin' proud. Those little leagendary Pokemon chains that I have on my purse don't gather enough attention. I love my shirt! *is currently wearing it* Now I just have to go somewhere populated by little kids and be adored.

So that's the play-by-play of my week. X3

And I want to update my footer, but I haven't been playing Pokemon much ._.'
